This week has been wonderful as we have been celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday and “Read Across America”. Our students love reading and are always excited to celebrate! One of the highlights of the week was a “Birthday Party” for ALL of our students       complete with a “GIANT Dr. SEUSS Hat” made of yummy cupcakes (one for each student and teacher—600+ Cupcakes!). These delicious cupcakes were made by the RCHS Culinary Arts Department.

We have lots of events coming up in March, April & May!  Watch for updates on Facebook, the Digital Sign and newsletters!

As always, Thanks for your support!

Mrs. Simpson

Student Health

At LES, we strive to have our students in school each and every day LEARNING!  We know that this is a tough time of the year for parents as you are trying to keep your children healthy. We want to support you and help in any way we can.

This is the season for colds, flu, strep throat, stomach bugs and as much as we dislike it– head lice. Take the precautions you can to make sure your child is healthy. If you need information on student health, please feel free to contact our office or school nurse.   Her name is Nurse Sigler and you can call the office and leave her a message. 706-321-2232

Wanted Pictures

We need pictures of students at LES through out the year for the this years yearbook.  If you have any pictures you would like to submit for consideration please email them to jenkinsb@russellcsd.net.  Thank you so much for your help with this.
